Jared is a visual artist based in Los Angeles.
He currently works at the visual effects house Luma Pictures as the Associate VFX Supervisor, where his credits include Avengers, Iron Man 3, Thor and Thor: The Dark World, Prometheus, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, No Country for Old Men and True Grit. His Matte Painting for Production with Jared Simeth DVD was released by Gnomon Workshop as part of the Behind the Scenes (BTS) Series. Originally from northern Wisconsin he studied at the Art Institutes International Minnesota, attaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics.
