About

Jared is a multi-disciplinary artist who has been working in the Visual Effects industry since 2006 and brings with him a rich set of skills and experience in both traditional art and production including compositing, matte painting, lighting, modeling, texturing, and VFX supervision.

Across more than 80 feature film and episodic credits, Jared has contributed to large-scale, high-profile sequences, but his true passion lies in invisible visual effects, the subtle craft that enhances a story without calling attention to itself. Of all the projects he’s worked on, No Country for Old Men remains his favorite.

Beyond the screen, Jared loves to work in many traditional art forms and is also deeply inspired by history.

His love for the past informs his artistic practice, studying historical artifacts and visual and cultural history to creating period-authentic crafts, often explored through living history.

Originally from northern Wisconsin he studied at the Art Institutes International Minnesota, attaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics.
